A target's tier indicates how important it is to you, on a scale of 1 to 4. In most contexts, tasks will be ordered by their corresponding target's tier. Setting a tier on your target once keeps you from having to indicate it over and over on every task. Change priorities? Change the tier on your target and the change will cascade immediately across the app.

There's also a fifth tier, "Someday." Tasks associated with Someday targets won't show up in the regular course of TaskTackler, but keep your ideas and tasks safe for the moment you're ready to flip the tier to 1-4!
