Your dashboard offers a different workflow view for your day. It shows overdue tasks, tasks due tomorrow, one task from each target against which you want to make daily progress, your "top ten" tasks, and also three random tasks to mix things up. You can regenerate your dashboard anytime by clicking "Refresh Dashboard."
